If you already have you mobile phone configured for WAP usage, and you would like to access 123India.com:

If not, access Internet on your mobile phone by configuring it as per steps given below. Just click on the your WAP device model, and get on to the Internet on WAP.

Before starting,

Contact your mobile service operator and get data and Fax enabled on the WAP Phone.
Get ready with your Internet Service Provider (ISP) Dial Up number, Username and Password or WAP Gateway Dial Up Number, Username and Password (as provided by your mobile service operator). Only one of the above to be used.

Key in the 123India WAP homepage on your handset as http://wap.123india.com.This can be done by using your keyboard, or the scroller. Special characters ('.' '/' '-' etc.) are available on the '*' key. Once complete select OK.

Scroll and select IP address and type in 216.234.247.61 or your WAP Gateway IP as provided by your mobile service operator.

Authentication type

Select Back

Step 13:

Scroll and select Authentication Type, click and Select 'Normal'. Press Ok.

Data call type

Select Back

Step 14:

Scroll to Data call type and set it as 'Analogue'.

Data call speed

Select Back

Step 15:

Data call speed to be set at '9600'.

Username

Select Back

Step 16:

You will now need to enter your ISP/WAP Gateway user name

Password

Select Back

Step 17:

Select and enter your password as given by the ISP/WAP gateway. Press OK. You would be asked to Confirm password. Do so by re-entering the password and selecting OK. Press Back.

Scroll to connection settings. Choose 123India and press Options.

Select Activate. Press back thrice to come to the main screen.

Your WAP Device is now enabled to access the 123india site as its home page.

Everytime you wish to connect to 123India:
1. Click on Menu.
2. Scroll to Services.
3. Click on Home.
